Airbourne
Watched a laid back low key, low energy band tonight.. ok that's a lie. Instead imagine if you could catch AC/DC as a bar band when they were first getting started, that might be closer to the experience you get when you see Airbourne. All adrenaline, hard rocking balls to the wall music, basically the subtlety of a sledghammer. This is what I call Rock N Roll. This kind of show this band puts on, gives one faith that not all that is hard nowadays is grunting vocals and speed drumming. But that there is something better, real, talented still being made. I almost blew off this show cause I figured it'd be in the Red Room and
I hate shooting anything in there. I'm glad I called and found out it
was indeed in the big room. The lighting wasn't subtle the music was just
as bold, the energy was through the roof. I had a great time. Hell I might
have even got a few shots I like. All in all a great night. |
