These are some of the pics I was leaning towards for the 2008 Foto Fest's theme of "Transitions" Specifically they wanted pics of people that were transitioning in music venues. I guess they meant dressing up for the shows or just not how they normally look.
Just goofing off downstairs at the Meridian and talking to Inkaholik (Johnny Jackson) about camera stuff and next thing I know we've broken out a couple of my lights, nothing serious just showing him the difference a strobe can make in some situations etc. Mizus Inkaholik seemed more than happy to pose for some shots, and with a canvas like that how can you not take a few pics eh?
I played with the results in Photoshop some and I'm even more interested in doing another shoot again if I can. Maybe with a bit more prep and setup. It was a hell of lot more fun than watching whatever metal bands that were playing upstairs that's for sure.
